Made in New Zealand

A private online home for your community — safe, and truly yours.

A members-only place for your people to talk, decide, share and organise — away from the noise, on ground you control.

  • No ads. No data-selling. Ever.
  • No lock-in — your record is yours, and you can check it.
  • Hosted in New Zealand and the EU, under NZ and EU law.

From /month flat for your whole Village — 200 members included, no per-seat fees.

Why it matters

Most groups live on borrowed ground.

The places we gather online belong to someone else. The rules change without asking, the record belongs to whoever owns the servers, and when the platform loses interest, your history goes with it.

A Village is a place that is properly yours — for your people, run by your rules, with the record kept where you can check it yourself. Nobody reads over your shoulder, and nothing your members share is turned into someone else's product.

And because Villages can join up with one another without being swallowed, a small group doesn't have to stay alone to stay itself. A marae committee, a family, a club, a co-op — each keeps its own ground and still works with the others.

That makes starting one the first practical thing a community can do about the future on its own terms: start small, own the ground, grow with others.

The catalogue

One home, a growing set of rooms.

Decide

Deliberation and governance

Decisions your members can stand behind — argued in their own words, sealed on a record you can check.

Village Assembly

A citizens' assembly built for organisations to run: put a real question to your members and rehearse the argument first. Dissent is kept word-for-word, never averaged into a score; the record carries a cryptographic seal and is yours to check. The software rehearses — your people decide.

Every app above stands on the same Foundation — its own record, its own intelligence, its own tools, its own ground. See what's underneath ↓

Federation

Joined, not merged.

Villages can link up — share a question, run a decision across many rooms, pass word between communities — while each keeps its own members, its own record, its own rules. Nothing is pooled; nothing is swallowed.

Three Villages, each a cluster of members inside its own boundary, linked to each other by thin lines. Each keeps its own record, marked by a seal inside every boundary. a shared question word between Villages a whānau trust its own record a residents' association a sports club its own record

The boundary is the point: what crosses it is only what each Village chooses to send — a question, an answer, a sealed result. Members, content and records stay home.

Underneath

What you see is the smaller part.

The rooms, events and decisions your members use every day sit above the waterline. Below it is what makes them safe to stand on: a sealed record, intelligence that stays home, tools that are built in, and ground held under New Zealand and EU law.

An iceberg. Above the waterline, the visible Village: rooms, events, decisions. Below it, four deeper layers: its own record, its own intelligence, its own tools, its own ground. waterline your Village rooms · events · decisions its own record its own intelligence its own tools its own ground
Check it yourself

Don't take our word for anything.

Every decision a Village makes is sealed onto a record you can verify with a small script — on your own machine, without asking us.

Its own intelligence

Village AI answers from your Village's own knowledge and values, on machines we run. Nothing leaves the room.

Its own tools

Email, calendars, documents, video calls — built in, not bolted on from elsewhere, so no third party sits between your members.
